Athlete of the Month - May 2017

HAVE YOU MET... RICARDO?

We are very excited to honor one of Starboard's Founding Members as our Star Athlete of the Month for May, Ricardo Jacobus!

We first met Ricardo at CrossFit Talem in Goose Creek, SC before chasing our dreams and moving to Starboard CrossFit. Ricardo has always been one of our most cheerful members to coach and has always been eager to learn as well as help and support others both in & out of the box. He is an inspiration to everyone; not only for being a rockstar friend and father who can do it all, but also for his heart and determination.

It’s awesome to see his huge smile when he walks into the box; it's such an exciting thing to witness…a member who is motivated to do their best each day, try new things, and push themselves harder than before, all for the sake of living a fuller, more challenging life. Where were you born or where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Brazil, a small town in the south called Esteio.
