SKILL:

  • air squats

  • heels down, neutral spine, knee track with toes, hips back & down below the tops of the knees.


4 ROUNDS:

  • 50 air squats

  • 15 shoulder-to-overhead 155/105


INTENDED STIMULUS:

  • barbell taken from the floor.

  • DO NOT underestimate the effect of the air squats on the shoulder-to-overhead.

  • strive for great form on the air squats.

  • QUALITY over speed.

  • use a target (wallball or short box) if having trouble reaching full range of motion.

  • Coaches will call out bad reps! don't get upset, just strive for better!
