Have you been curious about CrossFit but intimidated by all the rumors, the hardcore athletes and all that crazy stuff you see posted on Instagram or Facebook or see on TV?  You're not alone!  If you are new to CrossFit or just want to brush up on the basics, we've got you covered!  We offer a comprehensive fundamentals program.

Our fundamentals class is your introduction to CrossFit and Starboard CrossFit.  You will gain a basic understanding of CrossFit methodology as well as an introduction to proper form and range of motion.  Here you will safely learn CrossFit’s foundational movements that you'll soon become familiar with in group classes.  We explain every movement from top to bottom, provide scaling & modification options where appropriate and find your "starting weights" on all the barbell lifts.  We format the fundamentals program such that it reflects the basic structure of our group class.  This makes your transition to group class a bit more seamless and less intimidating.
